We collect the following personal information when you use TRISNAP:
- Email address when you create an account.
- URLs you submit for conversion, plus the resulting PDFs, screenshots, and Markdown transcripts.
- Usage data such as press counts, feature usage, and error events.
- Analytics data collected via Google Analytics 4, including device type, browser, and approximate location.
2. How we use your data
We use the information we collect to:
- deliver the conversion service and store your archive;
- measure product usage and improve features;
- enforce usage limits and prevent abuse;
- communicate account, billing, or service-related updates.
3. Third-party services
TRISNAP relies on the following service providers:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for website analytics and performance measurement.
- Google AdSense for serving advertisements to free-tier users.
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and hosting backend functions.
- Paddle for payment processing and subscription management.
4. Data retention
We keep your account data and conversion history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from active systems within a reasonable time, unless we are required to keep it by law.
5. Your rights
Under South African data protection law (POPIA), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also request a copy of the data we hold about you or object to certain processing.

6. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics 4 for analytics and Google AdSense for advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
7. No sale of personal data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above to operate and improve TRISNAP.
8. Governing law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
